A Message from Connie
Dear Fellow Mobilians, Today, after months of thought and prayerful consideration and a tremendous outpouring of support from the community, I am very pleased to formally announce my candidacy for Mayor of Mobile in the upcoming August 26 municipal elections. It would be my honor and privilege to serve as your Mayor and to continue the momentum and the progress that Mobile has experienced in recent years. With the transformational leadership of Mayor Stimpson spearheading landmark infrastructure projects and economic growth within the city, Mobile is on the cusp of a new era, and will require strong and experienced leadership. I believe that my qualifications and experience as a Mobile County Commissioner with completing major capital projects would provide the direction and the vision that is necessary. As your Mayor, I’ll pledge to prioritize public safety improvements and quality of life initiatives that include new jobs through economic development, business and neighborhood revitalization, strengthened public school partnerships, a renewed focus on beautification, a cleaner, litter-free environment, support for parks/recreation and sports and entertainment venues, and creating a family-friendly environment for our citizens and attracting new families to Mobile. I would be honored to have your support as we embark on this campaign journey. To find out more about my vision and priorities for Mobile, I invite you to watch the Connie Hudson for Mayor of Mobile campaign video, and please sign-up to join our campaign effort! Thank you!
